I started listening to his show since the first episode. I've only missed like 2 of them that were bonus shows, mostly all downloaded from bit torrent. I dont know of anyone else who has been listening since day 1, but I imagine there arent very many left (I may have been the last one).

I thought he was very entertaining and would listen to his show every single morning to work for a long ass time. It became part of my morning, and with Stern and Adam Corrola off the air, it was all I had.

Though I could tell alot of his stuff was just him creating a character, it was still entertaining until his format changed. Before the show had a feeling of anarchy and anything goes, then he started to be les edgy and become a watered down version of what got us into his show in the first place.

Anyways, we exchanged alot of emails and spoke on the phone several times since he knew I was with Casanova Crew. I helped get Vince Kelvin on his show, and I was a guest on his show myself a couple of times. He was always respectful to me on the phone, and even off the air I considered him a class act, very professional.

I was a legit fan, and was familiar with all the characters (Jorge, Stefan, CoolKev, Mr Right, etc) and stories/jokes.

So I wanted him to come speak at a seminar I put together in Los Angeles, and I wanted him to do his signiature anti-pua speil because I thought it would be exciting and entertaining to the people in the audience (as well as showing a contrast of opinions), not to mention it would be the first time Tyler and Barry would be in the same room in years.

Many people are surprised that I would be a fan of his show, but I always endorsed it on my site and made announcements that people check it out.

Anyways, I sent him a message explaining the details of his talk for my event. There's private information in those emails and he just read it live on the air like it was nothing. Alot of the information in that email could have potentially hurt my event, but cant say I was surprised. This is what Barry does.

So, I decided to give him a peice of his own medicine which is something no one has really been able to do.

He had left me a few voicemails about wanting to sell his services to the Casanova Crew a few months earlier, and I thought it would be justified to expose them considering what little regard he showed for me. And of course I thought PUA Hate would love to devour it.

When these voicemails first came out he was in a panic, and tried to do so much damage control that in the end no matter how hard he tried he couldnt shake the potential backlash he'd receive (and did).

I never thought the voicemails would become this popular though (clips being played on various PUA podcasts, and hundreds of views on Youtube), and on the front page of PUAhate.com

And yes, part of the reason I did release them as well is because I was pissed off at him and felt kinda betrayed; imagine like going to meet one of your favorite musicians and he acts like a dick to you; could you ever listen to his music the same way again? But either way the show was crap long before this incident , so Im sure I would have stopped listening eventually.

Its almost sad what its become; once the most cutting edge and compelling podcast on the internet, to a watered down waste of time.
